Title: SDN Security challenges
Post by: Keshav Sood on May 18, 2016, 05:59:30 PM
Dear Members,

I would like to start a new category for discussion, "SDN security challenges".
Security is always an issue because security measures are always consider  after launching a new technology.
I hope this new category gives benefits to research community working towards SDN security issues.

Primarily researchers focus on DDoS attacks in SDN. However, I  guess security should be understood in context of SDN architecture publically released by ONF.

Your comments are welcome.  Thanks.

Hi Keshav,

Welcome to our forum.

One of things that has always bothered me was the security of the switch->controller connection. The minimal adoption of TLS and the lack of authentication makes the standard deployment model prone to man in the middle attacks and connection spoofing.

Regards,
Paul

hi Paul
Do you know of a controller that can be integrated with Active directory for authentication?
